Columbus Museum, in a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse, has intriguing exhibits along with contemporary crafts, and the Port Columbus Civil War Naval Museum on the Chattahoochee River. In nearby Warm Springs Village, it’s possible to soak up the warmth of a Victorian-style village near where Franklin D. Roosevelt built his Little White House in 1932, hoping to find relief from his polio in the soothing waters.
